Utility tracking guide

You can verify your utility bills against actual meter data using the Optergy platform. There have been instances where residents have noticed discrepancies between their bill and the meter readings – having access to your own data makes it easy to spot anything unusual early.

Electricity EM

General electricity usage – everything except air-conditioning and EV charging.

EV charger EV

Power drawn through the building's EV chargers, billed to your lot.

Hot water Hot water

Centralised hot-water consumption for your apartment.

Cold-water consumption metered per lot.

Checking your usage

1
Log in to Optergy at precinctstage2.leopardbuildings.com.au using the username and password from your systems info sheet.
2
Ignore the security warning – the site will usually display an insecure warning. This is expected behaviour, click through to access the portal.
3
Select a Sort Type from the left-hand menu. Only Electricity and Water options work reliably.
4
Compare with your bill – find your meter in the list and check the usage against what you've been billed for the same period.
Meter name guide: AC = air conditioning · EM = standard electricity. All other meter names are self-explanatory.

Using the Utility Report Wizard

To compare a specific billing period against your invoice, use the Utility Report Wizard.

1
Click the menu button (downward-facing triangle) in the top-left of the screen.
2
Select Report Management, then Utility Report Wizard.
3
Choose a chart type – Tabular List is the easiest to read total period amounts.
4
Select Consumption, then choose the utility (e.g. Electricity).
5
Select your meter from the list. On a computer hold Shift to select multiple meters; on mobile tap the white box labelled '0 items' to multi-select.
6
Click Next, choose Between under Time Period, and enter the start and end dates from your invoice. Click Finish.
Found a discrepancy? If the metered usage doesn't match your bill, contact the Strata Manager with the report output as supporting evidence.
