Precinct Perks connects approved members with useful local offers. Here is how to recognise and verify the live membership card.
Different colours, the same membership
Residents can choose sky, midnight, plum or teal. Black is assigned privately. Every active colour is verified in the same way.

Reserved and assigned privately
Black is not a paid tier and residents cannot select it during application. Treat an active black card exactly like any other Precinct Perks card unless a separate offer has been agreed with you.
The holographic surface proves it’s live
A live Precinct Perks card has a spectrum sheen that shifts as the phone moves. For a definitive check, scan the code on the back and confirm that the card is active.
Tilt the phone
Ask the member to slowly tilt their phone. The sheen should move across the pattern. This is a useful visual check before scanning.
Screenshots are static
A screenshot remains still. If there is any doubt, scan the code on the back and rely on the active or inactive result.

Not just for perks
The card can also confirm that a membership is active when an agreed Precinct service requires it. Use it respectfully and only for the purpose explained to the member.
